The picture is provocative but the final point is one to celebrate. I may be an optimist, but I agree that this is our best shot to push humans to be more human. AI may be able to perform a particular set of skills to complete 99% of the cycle, but if we still need to distill human judgement for that last 1%, then we will be more valuable than ever, not less.
